Shirred Dress Class Glasgow

Create your own beautifully fitted shirred dress - no pattern needed. Inspired by high street styles (think Liberty dresses without the £200 price tag), this workshop will show you how to draft and sew a dress using just your body measurements.

Perfect for confident beginners, you’ll learn how to create a flattering, comfortable fit and master the technique of shirring so you can remake this style again and again.

What You’ll Learn

• Sewing and controlling shirring elastic 
• Creating a neat, professional finish

What to Bring

• your chosen fabric: approx 1.5 × your bust or hip measurement (whichever is larger) and a matching thread.

We will have a choice of white or black shirring elastic available when you arrive at class.
