Quilting - Hand Quilting Techniques

If you enjoy a nice slow sewing project then this one's for you!

Join Sandra for a lovely relaxed evening of hand sewing in the studio. We will try out some hand quilting techniques and embellishment on a small quilt panel. 

After class you could always make your panel into a placemat, wall hanging or the front/back panel to use on a zippered pouch - just a few ideas that might help you pick your fabric or panel before coming along.

Please bring along - 

Some spare quilt blocks or panels you have lying around to practice on or a few smaller blocks (there is no set size). Your blocks could be a Half Square Triangle design block from another class, simple blocks made up from squares or even just some plain fabric like a fat quarter will do.

You should have some wadding slightly larger than your blocks and some backing fabric too.
