Dressmaking - Make Your Own Shirt Class DUNDEE

Using the fantastic Frida Shirt pattern from Tilly and the Buttons our tutor will guide you through one of the variations of this pattern! You might have always thought that shirts and blouses would be a super difficult make but with our help and this fabulous pattern you can make the shirt of your dreams!

Frida is an easy-going shirt pattern with timeless details and a modern, relaxed fit. With two sleeve styles and hem lengths, you can chose whichever you prefer to make in class. 

The Pattern is included in the class price - if you would like it posted just message us and we can arrange this for a small fee.

What to bring:

• Tilly and the Buttons Frida Pattern - You should have the pattern and fabric cut beforehand. 
• Interfacing for the collar, collar stand and button placket (we have some in the studio you can purchase on the day). 
• Buttons approx 8-10 x 10-13 mm (3/8"-1/2") buttons. 
• Basic sewing kit (scissors, pins, unpick etc) 
• Thread in your desired colour (we have a selection in the studio you can purchase on the day). 

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS - Light- to medium-weight woven fabrics such as cotton lawn, poplin, dobby, shirting, chambray, flannel, fine needlecord, washed linen, viscose (rayon). 

You don't need to bring your own sewing machine, these are provided in class.
