Salla is a wonderfully simple midi-length knit dress sewing pattern with a straight cut, raglan sleeves, and a chunky turtleneck. The relaxed, wrist-length sleeves taper towards the wrist, and the waist is accentuated with a wide belt, which is fastened in place with belt loops.
MATERIALS & SUPPLIES
(Fusible knit interfacing, 205 cm (2¼ yd))*
* Use the interfacing if your fabric is very stretchy, light, and drapey. With relatively stable fabrics, omit the interfacing.
FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS
Choose a medium weight knit fabric with approximately 50% of stretch. Make sure the fabric you use is a soft, reasonably drapey and loose knit, for example a soft cotton cable knit. Be sure to also choose a knit interfacing.
All fabrics are sold by half-metre increments. Enter 2 for 1 metre of fabric.
