The Nova Coat by Papercut patterns is popular favorite in the sewing community. This oversized coat can be made lined or unlined and looks great in a wool style fabric although you can really make it in any woven fabric. Think linen for a summer cover-up or denim for an Autumn jacket. It's a fairly quick make and is a great one for experienced dressmakers and beginners too. It's not a fitted coat and there are no fastenings which makes it a fairly straightforward make that suits most body types!
