Drawing inspiration from Liberty’s rock star clientele of the 1960s and 1970s, this flamboyant ornamental incorporates a series of influences, including a mirrored Arts & Crafts layout, traditional damask floral motifs, and even a touch of colourful psychedelia. Electric Nouveau is part of The Audience act of Retold, celebrating the characterful and lively Liberty shopper, from Oscar Wilde in the 19th century to the artists, writers, musicians, rock legends, models and actors that have flocked to Regent Street since – our discerning audience is one of Liberty’s most inspiring muses for SS25.
